*Even with the recent events bringing the atmosphere down, Latooni can be seen in an unusually good mood lately. Still hard at work on her little computer, but smiling more often.*

There. All the calculations are correct. Now to see if I can get one to put this idea into action.

*Latooni has locked herself in her room and has rarely come out since Simon's trial.*

[Sitting hunched over in a corner of the Independence-1, mostly hidden except for some stray frills from her dress sticking out, is Latooni. She's rather quiet about it, but it is noticeable that she had been crying.]

Why do I keep losing people I care about? Nia...Simon...

*sniff*

I'm sorry I let everyone down. I should have been paying more attention. If I had, the Wildfalken would never have gotten taken.

Seolla and Arado were alive this entire time. I...I knew there was a chance that they were and might be with the DC. I thought I had prepared myself for fighting against them..I just never expected Seolla to shoot me like that. And Arado...I was surprised that he managed to survive Simon's drill attack. I hope that he's okay.

*can be found in her room with the door open with the note crumpled in her hand*

Nia? Could you help me with something?

*Latooni can be seen in the hanger, smiling as she reads a letter.*

I'm glad that things are still the same with them.

*She pulls out both some stationary and a pen, then starts writing a reply*

[Latooni can be seen trying to sneak out of the dorms to dispose of a rather large shopping bag that has some ruffles peaking out. Feel free to try and stop/talk to her. ~~hint hint, Nia and Simon.~~]

This game is kinda easy. I wonder if there are other games out there that are more challenging?

*Latooni can be found in a kitchenette in the dorms, with a mug of hot cocoa on a table and playing tetris on the Nintendo handheld that Simon gave her for Christmas. Feel free to look over her shoulder and be amazed at her high score.*

*Latooni can be found in a corner of the cafeteria, alone, with a small computer in front of her. *

Latooni had gone out in a F-28 Messer for a drill and for more flight data. Everything had proceeded as normal until, for some reason a warning sounded. The engine had failed completely, and there was no one out there with her to help.

She couldn't help but compare this to a similar event that happened to her in the past. Only this time, she knew that there would be no Garnet or Giado to save her.

But in hopes that someone would hear it, she sent out a distress signal, "Mayday, this is Latooni Subota. My plane's engine has failed and I'm going down. Mayday."

....Latooni Subota. Transfer pilot.

So this is the new EDF base. I should observe the other pilot's mechs and fighting styles for myself, so I can come up with the best strategies during battle, since the information I could get wasn't adequate enough. I also should see to the machine I'm going to pilot, and make the necessary adjustments to it.

....All these new people....Garnet. Giado. I'm not sure I can handle being here without you. I wish you both could have been transferred as well.
